Hunter & Co. was founded in the beautiful city of Munich, Germany. But our team represents and resides in many countries giving us a unique international perspective. Developing our app portfolios has been a dream come true for our team, which consists of hunters, software developers and nature lovers. We are constantly working to improve the apps for the hunting and fieldsports community around the world. Hunting for the future. It is our passion and our vision – because our apps are made for hunters, by hunters.
Vision
Digitalizing an ancient activity, the sustainable harvest of game, and supporting research into the benefits hunting has for biodiversity. Our vision is to digitalize everything before, during and after the hunt. Think of our apps as being the faithful companion that is always in your pocket. It provides assistance with all activities and organization, allowing you to have a better, safer and more organized enjoy hunt.
History
We started with a vision and a passion for hunting – and soon made our ideas a reality. Since then, we have continued along this path and will move forward with developing exciting new features for the global hunting community. We wish to thank our users for their continued support and invaluable feedback.
The vision of a revolutionary product for the hunting community was born...
Initial market research by interviewing hundreds of hunters in Europe and starting an international survey with 8,000 hunters in 8 countries.
Hunter & Companion GmbH was founded and the first steps towards creating the apps were taken.
MyHunt 1.0 was released to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store in the German Speaking region.
The community function went live and hunters could connect and communicate within the app.
By considering user feedback and dozens of app updates, our app became scalable and the foundation was laid for the international release.
The first release of our Pro Version with lots of additional features became available to subscribe to.
We went live in 155 countries in 5 languages - ES, FR, IT, EN, DE May 2020 We launched our magazine and shopping functions within the app, featuring your favourite relevant and local content and retailers.
